I just wanted to thank ALL OF YOU who are out their risking your lives and supporting our country, it really means a lot to me personally. I am attending a college that is very pacifist and very liberal and against any support what so ever of the government which has really pissed me off, especially with all the bad mouthing they do. But thats beside the point, I really appreciate everything you all are doing over there for us, and I appreciate you all putting your lives on the line for our freedom and to give us the rights that we have in this country. It couldnt be done without yall and I just want you to know that despite what some people say, yall are amazing and your a huge assesst to our country and it's beliefs and the freedoms that we are entitled to. THANK YOU ALL SOOO SOOO MUCH for everythin yall have done for us and for risking yalls life for us. I personally appreciate it and it doesnt go un-noticed. I just saw "World Trade Center." It should remind everyone why you are doing what you do. Saddam Hussein would have loved to engineer another attack like this, or worse. The problem now, in Iraq and Afganistan, is to prevent another psycopath, who would do his best to do another 9/11, from coming to power. We have, in the past, stopped rival gangs (calling themselves religious sects in the Middle East) from continuing to kill each other and take over a country or a major city in the Balkans, Chicago, and Miami, and I know you can do it again. Thanks to all of you for your un-yielding sacrifices. My gratitude will never be enough to replace your contributions to my safety and welfare, and to our existing freedom and way of life.
I spent 24 years in the service (5yrs active and 19 in the reserves). I was Navy all the way. During Desert Storm, my unit was activated. Never did I see or experience "support" for the troops. It was the other reservists that were recalled with me that "supported the troops".
Just know that I understand, and have you all in my prayers. Let me know what I can do.
